Warning: spoilers ahead for Thor: Ragnarok! way in ahead at your own risk!
Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok introduced an army of awesome further characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Badasses behind Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) were distinct standouts, but one further fan-favorite addition to the ensemble was Karl Urban's Skurge. The Asgardian executioner went out in a blaze of glory in Ragnarok's climactic battle, but some fans have wondered if it would be feasible to see Urban come put up to for substitute movie. Now it sounds behind that's something that Urban might interested in as well, as the Dredd star opened in the works in a recent interview behind CinemaBlend for his further film Bent and explained that he would reprise his role as Skurge, at least if the opportunity presented itself. Per Urban:
If the opportunity arose. I had a great mature working behind the gang higher than at Marvel and if they find a habit to incorporate the feel of Skurge in some innovative installment I'd love to come put up to and have the opportunity to reach more of that because it was a hell of a lot of fun.
Karl Urban entirely conveniently had a quite a bit of fun playing Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok. He was arguably one of the funniest parts of the entire film, which is axiom something behind we decide the fact that Ragnarok stands out as one of Marvel's funniest movies to date. He doesn't know roughly a plan to bring Skurge back, but if Marvel comes in the works behind an idea, he seems interested in getting on board.
The possibility of Skurge coming put up to raises questions roughly how something behind that could even happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After all, the feel entirely conveniently bites the dust behind he gathers his courage and leaps into statute during the definite battle against Hela's army. However, in substitute interview behind Comicbook.com, Karl Urban addressed the possibility of returning to the Marvel universe in a innovative project by telling a relation that focuses on Skurge in "the afterlife," which is something that the comics touched on behind he became a member of The Grandmaster's Legion of the Unliving team.
Of course, none of this means everything until Marvel decides what to reach behind Skurge. The folks at Marvel Studios could bring him put up to to fill out the Asgardian ranks if Chris Hemsworth walks away at the stop of his contract, or they could opt to leave Skurge behind his Ragnarok arc and audacious death.
Only mature will tell if Skurge will actually reward for substitute expression in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Until we learn more, you can check out Thor's latest adventure behind Avengers: Infinity accomplishment premieres in theaters on April 27. As for Karl Urban, you can catch his further film Bent in select theaters and on-demand right now!
Brianna Hildebrand: Deadpool. It's been kind of action-packed. I would say half action-packed so far, anyway, for me. My character is not very longwinded. She's very short. Are you shooting today? Brianna Hildebrand: I'm not shooting today. But my last thing that I worked on was the day before yesterday. It was in the scrapyard.
