There's no franchise quite as popular as Star Wars. Starting decades ago, George Lucas' luminous world has been passed alongside across generations, resulting in a immense pool of devoted fans to the galaxy far, far-off away. fittingly subsequently J.J. Abrams and Disney brought encourage the franchise subsequently Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it broke bin office archives and encourage inspire a other trilogy to conclusive the Skywalker legacy. Abrams is encourage to take in hand Episode IX, wrapping in the works stories and characters he originally introduced. The director/producer just shared the first image upon set, and it's cryptic and exciting. Check it out.
Does anyone else have chills? This other image, however out of focus, proves that Episode IX has officially begun production. And subsequently how high the stakes are in the wake of The Last Jedi, there's a ton to dissect in this conclusive installment in the main Star Wars franchise.
The above image is mostly focused upon the camera recording the image, but it as well as features some awesome Star Wars iconography in the background. If you look closely, it seems that Abrams is filming a scene from within the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon. This is a common quality for the beloved spread opera, fittingly most fans will easily be clever to create in the works the Falcon's cockpit in this first photo.
Not just an blank set, there are two actors filming within the iconic ship. Unfortunately, isolated one quality is helpfully visible: John Boyega's Finn. Finn is one of the trio of other heroes created by J.J. Abrams, and he's had a events by fire in The Resistance. If Episode IX has a epoch gap after The Last Jedi, after that it should be engaging to look how he's continued to battle adjacent to the First Order. Has he become a Han Solo, thrown into heroics previously going above and beyond? We'll just have to wait and see.
Regardless of the film's secrecy plot, J.J. Abrams' first set photo of Episode IX as well as shows that Finn finally found a other outfit. The former Stormtrooper spent his first two films rocking basics and Poe Dameron's jacket, but he's got other duds in the above image. instead he's rocking a delightful vest combo-- subsequently another time reminiscent of Harrison Ford's Han Solo.
As far-off as whose neighboring to John Boyega, intellectual maintenance says its Daisy Ridley's Rey. Rey is the owner of the Millennium Falcon now, and she's not going to have enough money Han's ship higher than easily. Finn and Rey spent the entirety of The Last Jedi separated, previously finally coming together in the film's conclusive moments. subsequently J.J. Abrams encourage in the director chair, intellectual maintenance says Finn and Rey's connection will subsequently another time become a focus of the narrative.
All will be revealed subsequently Episode IX arrives upon December 20th, 2019. In the meantime, check out our 2018 pardon list to plan your neighboring vacation to the movies.
