In less than a week from now, Venom will be arriving in theaters-- in imitation of Sony banking on this being the dawn of its shared universe of Spider-Man movies. The studio has already announced a few oscillate projects in the works, in imitation of Silver and Black, Silk, and Morbius the full of life Vampire. The former was assumed to be the next-door film in imitation of Venom, but the project faced some setbacks and is getting retooled. So, what's going to follow Venom? It sounds in imitation of it will be Morbius, which CinemaBlend school is the project most far and wide along in development.

Well, Morbius is very, very far and wide along. hence that's something that we're planning to go create in the very close future.

CinemaBlend's own Sean O'Connell asked producer Matt Tolmach what movie Sony was planning to have follow Venom at the film's press junket. Tolmach couldn't allow a 100% confirmation, but he singled out Morbius as being the closest to production. The movie already has a star attached to it in the form of Jared Leto, who has been tasked to statute the lead role of Morbius. The film has a script written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and Daniel Espinosa is set to direct. The project was first announced encourage in 2017, and it sounds in imitation of things have in imitation of mild tolerable that it'll be next-door in extraction after Venom arrives in October.

Morbius the full of life Vampire is formerly a supernatural Spider-Man villain, who became a brooding and gritty anti-hero. Michael Morbius was a biochemist exasperating to cure his scarce blood disorder, but one of his experiments went terrible-- and he transformed himself into a grotesque vampire-like being who hungers for human blood. though disgusted in imitation of himself and desperate for a cure, Morbius decides to feast on criminals who aren't "worthy" of life.

Not much is known practically the scheme of Morbius, but rumors indicate that it will be suitably loyal to the extraction of the character. No extra actors are currently attached to the project, but if this issue is supposed to arrive out after Venom, I will wager that we will begin to hear some casting announcements relatively soon.

As to whether this is the best pick to follow Venom, Mornius might be Sony's best bet if it's already far and wide into development. Venom is the most mainstream Spider-Man mood they own the rights to, and the others aren't exactly recognizable. In that case, it probably doesn't issue much what follows Venom, as long as it's an thrill-seeking concept.

There's no forgiveness date for Morbius, but be definite to glue in imitation of CinemaBlend, and we'll save you updated on every the latest news. To learn more practically what's going on in imitation of Morbius, here's whatever you dependence to know practically the character.
