Warning: SPOILERS for Avengers: Infinity encounter and Ant-Man and the Wasp are ahead!
Now that Avengers: Infinity encounter has arrived on Digital HD and is hitting Blu-ray/DVD adjacent week, chat has resumed more or less the blockbuster event and its effect on the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Within minutes, half of every enthusiasm was erased thanks to Thanos and the six Infinity Stones, and the survivors stood amazed at what happened. It's not exaggerating to say that everything's distorted after Infinity War, but this particular tally isn't higher than just yet, as Avengers 4 arrives adjacent year. Which begs the question: subsequent to we reunite subsequent to the remaining MCU heroes (and a determined purple-skinned villain) again, what will they be occurring to in this extra reality?
Even subsequent to eight months to go until Avengers 4's release, Marvel is staying silent more or less specific details on that movie. determined there's the occasional rumor and tally that finds its exaggeration online, but it's still difficult to fragment together what's in store. Nevertheless, unmovable anything that went the length of in Avengers: Infinity encounter and what little we know more or less Avengers 4, we've taken it on to speculate on where every of the major remaining characters will locate themselves subsequent to the unmovable Phase 3 installment begins, including a few folks who weren't on for Infinity War.
Iron ManIf Gwyneth Paltrow is to be believed, later the adjacent time we see Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, they'll be parents, something Tony dreamt was going to happen right back Avengers: Infinity War. Tony's a much interchange man than the apathetic weapons manufacturer we met a decade ago, hence seeing him raising a child would be different opportunity to do something how he's developed for the better. However, it's after that feasible that Tony is having distress distressing on from the undertakings of Infinity War. It was rumored last year that there's a scene in Avengers 4 where Tony is using his B.A.R.F. technology to see back at the battle of extra York subsequent to Harley Keener, the kid from Iron Man 3, for clues more or less Thanos. even though that hasn't been stated yet, it's hardly difficult to imagine that Tony feels answerable for anything that happened, and knowing that Doctor strange saved his enthusiasm for a reason, he's become obsessed subsequent to undoing anything the angry Titan did.
Captain AmericaWhile we may see Tony Stark as a daddy in Avengers 4, the associates enthusiasm isn't necessarily for Steve Rogers, as he customary at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. He's dedicated his enthusiasm to keeping selflessness safe, whether publicly or in the shadows. It remains to be seen if the undertakings of Avengers: Infinity encounter anyhow result in the Sokovia Accords subconscious overturned, but subsequent to half of Earth's population gone, the population needs superheroes more than ever, hence we can undoubtedly include on Steve still encounter the good battle regardless of his valid status. subsequent to Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans is after that customary to make his last MCU manner in Avengers 4, hence if that isn't tolerable for us to see Steve in the Captain America uniform and wielding the vibranium shield one last time, I don't know what is.
ThorIf Thor had aimed for Thanos' neck then again of his chest, he might have prevented the angry Titan from wiping out half of every life. Unfortunately, that's not what happened, and I expect Thor will still environment guilty more or less failing to prevent genocide subsequent to Avengers 4 rolls around. But Thor is after that still king of the Asgardians, and although half of his people were slaughtered by Thanos and the Black Order at the introduction of Avengers: Infinity encounter and some others presumably faded away from the Thanos snap, one would imagine there's a scattering of survivors out there. hence it's a good bet that Thor will be committed to bring the remnants of Asgard back together, and subsequent to Stormbreaker in his hands, traveling across the universe is easier than ever.
Bruce Banner/HulkHulk would have come in genial during the Wakanda battle in Avengers: Infinity War, and the movie's first poster had a shot of the Green Goliath charging into battle subsequent to his comrades. However, after getting a beatdown from Thanos aboard the Statesman, Hulk refused to come back out for the descend of Infinity War, rejection Bruce Banner to reach his best in the Hulkbuster armor. even though not clarified in the movie, the Russo Brothers noted that Hulk's stubbornness stems from him not wanting to "save Banner's ass" anymore. even though Bruce might be happy to finally have some goodwill and quiet, allowing him to resume his scientific studies, Avengers 4 has after that been said to be the unmovable chapter of the lost Hulk "trilogy" that began subsequent to Thor: Ragnarok. hence subsequent to Avengers 4 starts, maybe Bruce is still aggravating to reawaken his dreadful counterpart, knowing that there will come a time subsequent to he's needed.
Black WidowLike Tony Stark, there have already been rumblings more or less what Black Widow is occurring to during Avengers 4. subsequent to the movie was shooting last year, it was reported that Scarlett Johansson was on an overnight shoot occurring on the similar time as different shoot that committed Japanese gangsters. Assuming these two are connected, later it seems the undertakings of Avengers: Infinity encounter didn't deter Natasha Romanoff from continuing her spy work, as evidently she'll annoyed paths subsequent to the Yakuza. If she's delightful to still stress bad guys to a pulp, later you'd think that she'd be game for jumping back into do something subsequent to her superhero allies on Avengers 4's main mission.
War MachineAlthough he attributed of the Sokovia Accords during Captain America: Civil War, James Rhodes gradually had a change of heart, hence subsequent to Captain America, Black Widow, Falcon and Bruce Banner showed occurring at the Avengers base, Rhodey ignored Secretary Ross' orders to arrest them. Rhodes admitted that would probably aspiration he acquire a court martial, and if half of selflessness hadn't faded away, maybe that would have happened. However, the world is distorted now, and unmovable both his military standing and his experience as encounter Machine, maybe Rhodey will acquire a pass hence that he can continue serving the united States and eliminating evildoers subsequent to a powerhouse encounter of armor. If not, later assuming he didn't surrender himself to be disciplined, later he's probably on the run, just subsequent to Steve and the anti-Sokovia Accords gang were after Civil War.
Rocket RaccoonAlthough he's still cynical and sarcastic, subconscious subsequent to the Guardians of the Galaxy distorted Rocket Raccoon for the better, hence one can by yourself imagine how losing every of his associates is going to do something him, particularly where Groot is concerned. Rocket already watched the tree pal die once, and this time around, he'd become Groot's daddy figure. It's categorically feasible Rocket could remain on Earth subsequent to his extra allies and to learn more or less our raccoons, but I suspect that in Avengers 4, Rocket is back to traveling on the galaxy and getting into distress in order to pact subsequent to his pain. His tally of coping will include shooting criminals and causing as many explosions as possible.
NebulaThanos killed Gamora hence he could gain the Soul Stone, but the angry Titan's extra "daughter" survived his snap of death. Nebula vowed at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to kill Thanos, and unmovable what he did at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, no doubt she's more determined than ever to fulfill that goal. Rather than pin on Earth, Nebula is likely traveling the galaxy subsequent to Avengers 4 begins aggravating to locate Thanos hence she can finally have her revenge. It's after that worth noting that in the comics, Nebula is answerable for undoing Thanos' undertakings subsequent to she wielded the Infinity Gauntlet, but unmovable how damaged the Gauntlet was at the end of Infinity War, it's difficult to say if Karen Gillan's Nebula will acquire to harness that faculty for herself.
OkoyeWhen Thanos' minions arrived on Wakanda to endure the Mind stone from The Vision, Okoye was on the battlefield alongside the Avengers and Wakanda's warriors to drive back those dreadful hordes. Unfortunately, they lost the battle subsequent to Thanos rewound time and took the Mind Stone, and minutes later, Okoye watched as King T'Challa faded away instantly. Despite stifling losses, both during and after battle, Wakanda still stands, hence even though T'Challa may still be on her mind subsequent to Avengers 4 starts, it stands to defense that Okoye will still be leading the Dora Milaje and making determined the African nation stays secure in these troubling times.
M'BakuM'Baku and T'Challa weren't on good terms at the start of Black Panther, but by the end of the movie, the two men developed newfound admiration for one another, and M'Baku was unmovable a spot on the Wakanda nation council to represent his tribe, the Jabari. hence it was hardly surprising to see M'Baku and extra Jabari warriors charging into battle in Avengers: Infinity War, but along subsequent to losing many of his men, M'Baku after that had to watch subsequent to horror as more of the Jabari and extra Wakandan warriors turned to dust. It's a lot to endure in, but subsequent to Okoye, M'Baku has a faithfulness to see after his people, hence he'll likely still be leader of the Jabari subsequent to we reunite subsequent to him.
ThanosWhat, did you think we weren't going to citation that guy who's answerable for every this devastation? In an instant, Thanos used the six Infinity Stones to wipe out half of every enthusiasm in the universe, and although he customary to his vision of Gamora that finally accomplishing his mission "everything," he seemed content subsequent to what he'd done. Thanos was last seen watching a sunrise on different planet, fully healed from his injuries. However, it's important to note that subsequent to Thanos committed genocide, the Infinity Gauntlet was damaged, and co-director Joe Russo suggested that using the Gauntlet after that damaged Thanos. subsequent to Avengers 4 picks up, Thanos will presumably be leading a silent enthusiasm and unwilling to undo what he's wrought. Could he have a change of heart later? Maybe, but at the start of the movie, don't expect him to be helpful in the slightest. In fact, if he gets wind of the remaining heroes aggravating to change truth back to normal, he'll probably jump back into do something to end them.
HawkeyeAfter Captain America: Civil War, Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, took a pact from the U.S. government to be placed on home arrest in disagreement hence he could be subsequent to his family, hence why he didn't appear in Avengers: Infinity War. Unlike the last time Clint tried to retire from superheroics, this time it probably would have stuck, but Thanos' snap distorted everything. Clint will be back in Avengers 4, by yourself then again of picking occurring his bow and arrow once again as Hawkeye, it's rumored he'll now be going by Ronin, and that identity change is the result of something occurring in Infinity encounter that leaves him "in a categorically dark place." If this is true, and unmovable how Infinity encounter ended, it's not a stretch to endure that Clint's associates faded away, and subsequent to them gone, he's thrown himself back into vigilantism and adopted a extra moniker.
Ant-ManLike Clint Barton, Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, took a home arrest pact subsequent to the U.S. government, which he completed at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp. During that movie's post-credits scene, Scott went into the Quantum Realm to mass quantum enthusiasm that would back Ava Starr, a.k.a. Ghost, subsequent to her condition. sadly for him, that visit happened right as Thanos snapped his fingers, and back Hank Pam, wish van Dyne and Janet van Dyne every dusted away, that left Scott trapped in the Quantum Realm. We know that Scott will eventually break clear from the Quantum Realm during Avengers 4 (possibly through one of those time vortexes Janet warned him to avoid), but who knows how much time will have passed subsequent to he gets back to our reality.
Captain MarvelAlthough Carol Danvers hasn't debuted in the MCU yet, we got our first tease of her subsequent to the pager that Nick Fury activated back he turned to dust displayed the Captain Marvel symbol. adjacent March, the Captain Marvel movie will do something audiences how Carol became a superhero in the 1990s, and later she'll reappear in the present day, be it in the Captain Marvel post-credits scene or at the introduction of Avengers 4. anything the defense for her subconscious subsequent to from Earth for the subsequent to 20 or hence years, Fury's signal will be appeal her back home, and even though we don't know still how she'll meet the extra remaining heroes, unmovable that she's the most powerful of them all, she may maintain the key to defeating Thanos for good and/or reversing what he did subsequent to the Infinity Gauntlet (perhaps by wielding a interchange Infinity Gauntlet herself).
