Zachary Levi's Shazam! arrives in theaters April 5, but you can check out his new trailer right now:
Believe it or not, this is the first new footage most of us have seen since the first trailer was released encourage at San Diego Comic-Con. complementary trailer was shown at Brazil Comic-Con, but it wasn't released online. That trailer was described by those in attendance, and seemed to increase some of these shots -- including Shazam jumping off a building.
This TV spot/sneak peek/trailer takes us into the backstory of how juvenile Billy Batson (Asher Angel) became the adult superhero Shazam (Zachary Levi) subsequently he was competent that skill by the wizard Shazam played by Djimon Hounsou.
This trailer with gives us a improved see at Mark Strong's villain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and the many major fake set pieces. Shazam! does still showcase its humor, especially in the end scene, where Shazam and his best pal Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer) appear to visit a genuine house agent to acquire their own "lair." Head to the bat cave, gents!
So far, fans seem to be having fun subsequently Shazam! which is the entire point. No one is expecting it to be the DCEU's next-door billion club hit, fittingly expectations aren't that high, but anticipation is pretty high. maybe even innovative than the new Captain Marvel movie? OK, let's not create it more of a feud than it needs to be.
This spring is going to be jam-packed subsequently superhero movies. The MCU's Captain Marvel is first upon March 8, subsequently DC's Shazam! upon April 5, subsequently encourage to Marvel subsequently Avengers: Endgame upon April 26. This is why April may have a superhero problem. reach we every have satisfactory get older and grant to reach these films justice? They are just the tip of the iceberg, too, subsequently it comes to spring 2019, never mind the ablaze of the year. It's crazy. crazy fine for us as fans, though.
Shazam! is allowance of the DCEU and will have nods to the shared universe, but you probably just right of entry that DC isn't as big upon the shared stuff anymore. They are headed in a new direction. Probably a fine plan. For more upon the DCEU, bookmark our reachable guide.
