What the far ahead holds for the DC shared unvierse is too unclear at the moment, so it's unclear if we'll ever look the likes of Black Adam and Aquaman squaring off. But that doesnt mean we wont look The stone and Jason Momoa sharing the screen together. The stone actually wants Jason Momoa to take action his brother in the fast and irate franchise. In fact, Dwayne Johnson has already tried to create it happen, as he explained:
Me and Momoa tried difficult to acquire him in this movie to take action my brother, but his schedule was too packed. adjacent Hobbs movie for sure.
The stone and Jason Momoa were enthusiastic to create a team-up happen for the newly titled fast & irate Presents: Hobbs & take action (One title, two ampersands, how high octane is that?!) but it didnt come together. Dwayne Johnson wanted Jason Momoa to take action the brother to his atmosphere Luke Hobbs in the spinoff film, which entirely would have gotten take action fans and cinephiles excited.
Unfortunately, Jason Momoas schedule was too packed, presumably gone Aquaman duties, for him to be accomplished to film for Hobbs & Shaw. Its nice of hilarious to listen The stone talk roughly someone elses schedule beast too full gone how impossibly thriving he himself always seem to be. Although the two actors couldnt create it take action this time, The stone is hopeful in his Instagram name that for the adjacent Hobbs movie, they can create this team-up happen.
While we wont look Jason Momoa as Luke Hobbs brother in Hobbs & Shaw, we will look the characters family. The Rocks initial observations roughly Momoa came after a enthusiast asked roughly the Aquaman actor in a name showing the Hobbs intimates from the upcoming film. We had heard that this spinoff would feature members of both Hobbs and Shaws families, and that image featured Luke Hobbs and his four brothers.
The four brothers, played by Cliff Curtis, Josh Mauga, John Tui and Dwayne Johnsons real-life cousin and WWE wrestler Roman Reigns (ne Joseph Anoai) govern a custom car shop in Western Samoa and are a entirely tight knit family.
We dont yet know how exactly the Hobbs intimates fits into the plot of this film, but itll be interesting to look if there are any hints dropped in the film or at least some wiggle room to allow for a sixth Hobbs brother played by Jason Momoa to appear in a far ahead film. Although maybe, if it comes to fruition, Jason Momoa would take action a substitute role new than Hobbs' brother.
As far as far ahead films go, The stone sounds confident already that Hobbs & Shaw will be well-to-do ample to spawn a sequel. The actor is entirely high on Hobbs & Shaw, and the mannerism the film is allowing him to embrace and showcase his Samoan heritage. He's even gone so far as to call it the movie hes been waiting for his entire career.
Jason Momoa is coming off of a omnipresent win gone Aquaman and theres little doubt that hell be enthusiastic on the sequel past too long. But hopefully he and The stone can locate anyhow to create it take action for him to appear in the adjacent Hobbs & Shaw film, because it would be awesome to look these two take action stars onscreen together.
