Between films as soon as Deadpool 2 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix, the X-Men franchise has numerous irons in the fire, but one of the most intriguing of the bunch is the Kitty Pryde movie living thing developed by original Deadpool director Tim Miller. There's a lot of zeal for the quality to return to the silver screen, and some have wondered whether or not Ellen Page could arrive back to acquire full of zip in the project. That's something that CinemaBlend asked Page during a recent interview to discuss her other film, The Cured, and even if the actress isn't officially full of zip in the movie, she did make public that she would attain thus if definite the opportunity because she wanted to attain more as soon as Kitty Pryde during her tenure. Page explained:
I loved playing Kitty Pryde, and I think one of the things I always felt was I hope I could have ended more. My experience in the films wasn't necessarily that extensive and she is such a great character. I don't know anything approximately the movie to be honest as soon as you, but yeah, of course, that's something I'd love to do, but I don't know.
Ellen Page definitely isn't wrong. Making her debut in X-Men: The Last Stand, her statute as Kitty Pryde has become widely regarded by many fans as one of the standout elements of the third X-Men film. Alas, Ms. Pryde was put on the back burner for several years in the past resurfacing for a side role in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of forward-thinking Past, which swapped in Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as the quality to go back in mature then again of her. The public notice of a Kitty Pryde movie hasn't included any hint to Page or her tab of the character, but it sounds as soon as the Juno actress would return if asked.
In any other franchise, it would be easy to acknowledge that everyone just wants to recast and involve on, but X-Men is particularly notable for how its films statute quick and floating as soon as continuity. Although the franchise technically rebooted as soon as the actions of Days of forward-thinking Past, its conclusion afterward made definite to note that Page's tab of Kitty did yet exist in the timeline. Now it sounds as soon as the solitary matter that would need to happen to continue that tab would be to extend an meet the expense of to Page.
Regardless of whether or not Ellen Page returns to statute Kitty Pryde, there's a lot to acquire fired up approximately a propos her forward-thinking in the X-Men franchise. The quality can phase through make public and time, which allows her to govern through walls and send her consciousness back in time. These abilities are some of the most unique in all of the X-Men films, and they could set a Kitty Pryde tab apart from other Marvel tales.
CinemaBlend will bring you more counsel linked to the X-Men franchise, Tim Miller's Kitty Pryde movie and anything else in the world of Marvel mutants as other details become genial to us. For now, you can catch Ellen Page in The Cured, which is currently in theaters and genial on VOD.
